Here’s a couple of the dogs I photographed last week while walking in the woods.
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier is Mason and was described as “all dog”. He really was a beautiful boy with a great temperament.
Chester, was much younger and very lively and was the main squirrel hunter. He was described as “a bit of a pansy”, but I suppose any dog would be if you compared it with Mason.
Here’s a familiar face for the dog walkers around Southborough. It’s the elegant Red Setter, Clementine. What a beautiful dog….until she goes for a paddle in the stream!

Quick one for Sunday evening. This is one of the dogs I photographed last week. Leah is a young Border Collie and of course, she has bundles of energy.
This evening’s dog photography blog entry features some of the dogs that go out with the Bidborough Dog Walkers.
The first shows Lily, a Cocker Spaniel, coming to check out what I’m up to.
This one is Tia, a Collie cross who was a real hit with my Barney. Enough said about that.
Here’s Leo, a Retriever looking all splendid and back-lit in the farmers field.
And lastly, welcome to Piccadilly Circus in the woods.

I’ve finally set up an online ordering service with Photobox. This is a separate website where you can go to view and order any of the images that you have seen on The Dog Snapper blog. You can view the site by clicking here http://www.photoboxgallery.com/thedogsnapper.
The dogs I have photographed are each given a folder and if you click on these you will be able to see the images for each dog. From here the ordering should be fairly straightforward and your order is placed with Photobox and they will send you the order directly (and hopefully) in pretty quick time.
There’s lots of products available including prints, canvases, wall portraits, t-shirts, stickers, keyrings etc. Other items that aren’t on there that you may be interested in like mugs, greetings cards and high resolution files are also available. Please contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me on 07813 194638.
Here’s some more taken last week just as the Bidborough Dog Walkers met up for their morning walk. The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier is Barney and this first picture is Barney (the soft coated wheaten terrier) chasing (my) Barney (the working cocker spaniel).

Amazing hail storm earlier. Here’s Barney surveying the situation on our front path before I took him out.

….this is what the owner called her dog when I met them in the woods a week or so ago. I thought it was a great summing-up.
This is Basil, a 7 month old working Cocker Spaniel, a dog that I photographed under a thick canopy of trees on a gloomy day. When my wife met the owner recently, she said that her son was really looking forward to seeing pictures of Basil on the blog soon, so here they are. I would love the photograph Basil again soon in more favourable conditions.
