Dogs in The Pantiles
Had a mooch around The Pantiles last weekend. There was lots going on with people Christmas shopping and visitors to The Farmers’ Market, which takes place every first and third Saturday of the month.
First up is Chas, a Shar Pei
Alfie, is a German Shepherd/Siberian Husky cross who was keeping watch amongst the veg on the Bishop’s Green Grocers stall. Apparently Alfie is scared of butchers shops which can’t be easy when your green grocers is positioned up in the top of the town near the Opera House, right next to a butchers. But he does like cake.
Next up is Ruby, a Cockerpoo.
I photographed Banjo last time the market was on as the owners have the Strange Fruits stall. The Strangefruits Band were performing to a gathered audience at the bandstand and were playing good music. Great to see young musicians playing live with talent and confidence. Even Banjo joined in.
Last up, is the very handsome Harvey, a Pointer.
